EDUCATION PERSPECTIVE: EFFECTS OF THE PANDEMIC AND POST-PANDEMIC WITH RESPECT TO THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Education at its different levels and modalities was led to a radical change in the way of carrying out the teaching and learning process in the period of health crisis due to COVID-19. This gloomy panorama broke the teacher-student interaction schemes, leading education to break with the classic paradigm of lecture versus virtual teaching. In this order of ideas, it is exposed how the phenomenon of the pandemic and postpandemic have become even more complex due to the geopolitical crisis that current society is experiencing, tracing the dilemma on the fulfillment of the objectives of sustainable development, in particular those related directly with education. Likewise, the review and adaptation of the curriculum is required, based on the new scenarios posed by technology and the atypical conditions that the world is going through, which leads to rethinking new boundaries that education must travel with a view to solving inequality and existing inequity for those less favored.
