STATELESSNESS AND HUMAN DISPLACEMENT

The displacement of people may generate situations of statelessness. This article analyzes the Spanish legal order, as well as its interpretation. Spain has regulations that prevent these assumptions from happening at the legal level. However, there are still cases of factual statelessness that are being eliminated through the interpretation of administrative and judicial bodies. They have also been addressed by the Human Rights Committee, the ECHR, and the CJEU.
